2018-19 Special Olympics was a Great Success!

On April 5th we finished out our final Special Olympics for the school year with Track and Field.  Students competed in various activities such as shot put, long jump, 50 yard dash, and 100 yard dash.  The event was a great success, and rounded finalized the school year program which included soccer, basketball, and flag football.

Various community partners came out to join us at the games, including Scampi the beloved mascot of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and representatives from the Jacksonville Armada.

We would like to thank Special Olympics Florida Special Olympics Florida – Duval County, our parents, staff, volunteers, community supporters, and, most of all, our incredible Coach Chris Fuller for the wonderful opportunities you’ve given our students through this amazing program you’ve put together for us again this year. We are so very lucky and proud to have had you with us. Thank you for all you’ve done, Coach!  Watch this awesome video to see a montage of all of out Special Olympics events this year!
