This is the standard August - June school year. It does not include Extended School Year (summer programming) or Intersession (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Families may still purchase intersession or summer weeks separately as a fee-based service.
This schedule includes the standard school year plus all intersessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring). If intersession days are canceled due to weather-related closures, credits will be applied toward another service at Mainspring - such as Extended School Day services, registration for the next school year, or Extended School Year programming. Credits are not refundable. A 10% discount is provided for intersession enrollment.
This schedule includes the standard school year, all intersessions, and Extended School Year (summer programming). Families who select this option receive a 10% discount for both intersession and summer programming.
Mainspring Academy is committed to providing a safe, structured learning environment for every student. In rare cases, a child may continue to show disruptive or unsafe behaviors even after standard classroom interventions and collaboration with families and outside providers.
When all other supports have been exhausted, additional behavior services may be required to help the student succeed while maintaining a positive classroom environment. Families may either secure school-based services through a private ABA provider or request structured support from Mainspring’s Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
These services include a functional behavior assessment, a tailored intervention plan, and ongoing training and monitoring. Families are always informed and involved before this process begins. Our goal is to help each child make progress in the most supportive setting possible.
Most of our current students benefit from the Step Up for Students FES-UA Scholarship (state-funded) to cover a portion of their tuition. Please navigate the resources below for more information.
Visit campus and see classrooms in action. Tours are welcoming and informative, with plenty of time to ask questions and learn how Mainspring supports students with different needs.
If Mainspring may be a possible match, an on-campus student observation and parent interview may be scheduled to better understand your child’s needs and determine program fit. The next step is a review of relevant records (such as an IEP, evaluations, and reports).
If Mainspring is able to meet your child’s needs and an opening is available, the team will guide your family through enrollment and next steps in a clear, supportive way.
Questions are always welcome – we’re happy to help you explore. Admissions Process: What to Expect.
