General Community Supply Needs

Mainspring Academy’s School Wish List includes the most high-need items that are important for our entire building, all year round. Our most used items on the list include printer paper and latex-free nitrile gloves of various sizes.

You can also support our school while you shop all year round by choosing Mainspring Academy as your AmazonSmile charity. AmazonSmile works the same as Amazon regarding your Prime account and regular purchases. Prices and shipping do not change, but a small percentage of each purchase will support our organization.

  1. Using your Amazon.com account information, register for AmazonSmile on your web browser. Sign up here. Simply select “Mainspring Academy” to start generating donations, at no cost to you.
  2. Download/update the latest version of the Amazon.com app on your phone. You can find it in the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.
  3. Turn on AmazonSmile – Open the app and find ‘Settings’ in the main menu (☰). Tap on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on the AmazonSmile feature in your phone.

    It’s that easy!

Annual Polar Express Holiday Event

With the help of our generous small business, corporate, and charitable groups in our community, each of our students visits with Santa Claus and typically receives a personalized gift during our annual Polar Express Holiday Event in December.

If you or your group may be interested in connecting with our students by donating gifts for this event, please contact Sabrena Snow, Director of Community Affairs, at [email protected].

If needed, Mainspring can assist by arranging a gift-wrapping event with parent and community volunteers for items donated.

Additional Opportunities

Mainspring has many supply, equipment, and event needs throughout the school year. There are always opportunities to help with:

  • Contributing raffle/door prizes of $100-$200 value for our annual February Miles for Mainspring and April Board Banquet fundraising events
  • Contributing goods or sponsoring our annual Thanksgiving Feast in November
  • Contributing goods or sponsoring student holiday gifts for our annual Polar Express Holiday Event in December
  • Contributing goods or sponsoring May Teacher Appreciation Week activities
If you or your group would like more information or would like to provide in-kind assistance with any of these projects, please email Sabrena Snow, Director of Student and Community Affairs, at [email protected].
