I understand the following:
1) Eligibility & Process:
I understand that a student observation may be scheduled only after the Online Inquiry is submitted, required records are provided (IEP and/or evaluation), and a school tour has been completed.
2) Admissions Integrity (No Guarantee / Capacity-Based):
I understand that an observation does not guarantee enrollment or placement. Admissions decisions are based on student needs, program capacity, and classroom availability, and a student may be waitlisted if an appropriate opening is not available.
3) Observation Expectations & Safety:
I understand that parents/guardians do not accompany students during the observation. I understand I will be meeting 1:1 with a member of the Admissions Team for the Parent Interview portion of the enrollment eligibility process. I understand that in rare behavioral or safety circumstances, staff may be unable to complete the full observation.
4) Timeliness & Scheduling:
I understand I must notify the school as soon as possible if I need to cancel, reschedule, or if I will be late. A 10-minute grace period is provided, and late arrival may result in cancellation. Repeated missed appointments may delay or pause the admissions process.
5) Documentation & Accuracy:
I confirm the information submitted is accurate and I will notify the school of significant updates or changes.
6) Professional Boundaries:
I understand staff cannot accept gifts, favors, invitations, special arrangements, or promises related to admissions decisions.
7) Decision Timeline:
I understand families are typically notified of an admissions decision or waitlist update within approximately 14 business days after the observation
8)Acceptance & Contract: I understand a seat is secured only after the signed Enrollment Contract and required registration deposit have been received by Mainspring Academy.
