MAINSPRING ACADEMY: September 2022 – Staff and students celebrated Spirit Week expressing gratitude to our donors, volunteers, Board of Directors, and local law enforcement officers. We closed the week with Diversity Day, a showcase of foods from the many different cultures at Mainspring. Staff hosted a fun Zootopia-themed Parent Night Out to raise funds that will go towards an enhanced school security system.
Mainspring Academy is excited to have received a generous $50,000 donation from Fortegra Foundation which will provide many opportunities as we begin our expansion later this school year. We are also grateful to have received grant funding from Autism Speaks for an adaptive art curriculum from Indigo Art Therapy and Florida Autism License Plates for adaptive physical education from Adaptive Personal Training.
